Como Cathedral

The cathedral of Como, that represents a religious, civil centre in the heart of the town, is one of the few buildings in Gothic style (along with the church of Sant’Agostino). Its construction started in 1396, it was projected by Lorenzo degli Spalti, for Gian Galeazzo Visconti and it was finished only in 1740 with the dome of Filippo Juvara.
